Ancelotti, who had the entire squad available once again, finalised preparations at Real Madrid City for the Champions League match against the Italians

Real Madrid completed the last session prior to the Champions League match against Juventus, which will take place tomorrow at the Bernabeu (20:45; C+ Liga de Campeones). Carlo Ancelotti made ball work the focus of the session for which he once again had the whole squad available.
Real Madrid finished preparations for tomorrow's match against Juventus at the Santiago Bernabeu. Carlo Ancelotti divided the 24 players into two groups. In the first were Casillas, Diego Lopez, Jesus and Tomas Mejias, who trained on specifics with goalkeeping coach Villiam Vecchi.

In the second group were the 20 outfield players. In the fifteen minutes that the press had access to the session, they began with stretching and muscle strengthening exercises before moving on to work with the ball. The Whites completed various circuits focused on quick ball movement.

Real Madrid will attempt to make it three wins from three Group B matches when they welcome Italian championsJuventus in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Wins over Galatasaray and Copenhagen have left the Spanish outfit top of their section, but it has been a struggle for Juventus thus far with back-to-back draws against Gala and Copenhagen leaving them with just two points at this stage.

The two sides have met each other 14 times in European competition, with Madrid's home record reading won five and lost two. The pair also clashed in the final of the European Cup in 1998, when a strike from Madrid's Predrag Mijatovic secured their seventh European title.

The last time the two European heavyweights met was in the group stages of the 2008-09 campaign, when Juventus won 2-1 in Turin, before Alessandro Del Piero scored twice in a 2-0 win for the Italian outfit in the Bernabeu.

Madrid, who currently sit third in La Liga, enter the match off the back of a 2-0 win over Malaga in the league on Saturday. However, Juventus, who are third in Serie A, were thumped 4-2 by Fiorentina on Sunday.

Iker Casillas is expected to replace Diego Lopez between the sticks for the home side, while Raphael Varane could also start in the middle of defence. However, the match has come too soon for Xabi Alonso, despite the Spaniard returning to first-team training.

Gareth Bale is also expected to be named on the bench as he continues his recovery from a muscular injury, while Karim Benzema could take the place of Alvaro Morata, who started the league win over Malaga at the weekend.

Juventus have no fresh injury concerns from their defeat to Fiorentina on Sunday. Arturo Vidal will be hopeful of coming into the XI alongside Sebastian Giovinco, with Simone Padoin and Fernando Llorenteboth dropping out. Meanwhile, striker Fabio Quagliarella is unavailable with a thigh injury.

Ancelotti and Conte purr over Madrid v Juventus

Mutual respect abounded as Real Madrid CF coach Carlo Ancelotti and Juventus counterpart Antonio Conte analysed their teams' meeting on matchday three.
With 11 European Champion Clubs' Cups between them, Real Madrid CF and Juventus are two of the most decorated teams in the competition. UEFA.com previews their upcoming UEFA Champions League Group B meeting with the help of coaches Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte.
"Juventus are very motivated and very well organised, with quality players," Madrid boss Ancelotti told UEFA.com. "They've signed some important players in the summer, like [Fernando] Llorente and [Carlos] Tévez who have given them some extra quality. The team have played together for three years under the same coach and it's a well-structured club."
"It's a massive test for us," added Conte, whose second-placed Juve side trail the Merengues by four points after opening with draws against FC København and Galatasaray AŞ. "We have a year's experience under our belts and that's very important for a lot of our players who were playing in the Champions League for the first time last season.
"Madrid are arguably one of the most ambitious teams. We're facing a club that really want this title, because of their history and their hunt for a tenth European Cup. I think it will be a nice challenge for us to go and compete with them at the Santiago Bernabéu, as well as at home. It will tell us how well our development is going."
