Ramos hopes to be the next:

Real Madrid agreed a contract extension with Cristiano Ronaldo and has improved the contracts of Diego López and Pepe, but now next in line is Sergio Ramos, who is also soon hoping to receive good news about an improved contract. The club does not usually negotiate with players until the final two years of a contract and Ramos is currently signed up until 2017.

The defender currently earns around €5.5 million but according to Florentino Pérez it is the two captains Casillas and Ramos who earn the most in the squad after Cristiano Ronaldo, while Gareth Bale would be the next best paid player.
The signing of Ramos was a personal request of the President who hopes the player will retire having played his entire career at the club. That is also the intention of Ramos who arrived at the club from Sevilla as a kid. Now however he is one of the most important players in the squad and will expect to be rewarded well for that.
