Lethal Weapon 2

REAL SHOOTS AND SCORES TWICE AS MUCH WITH RONALDO AND BALE

Lethal Weapon 2

With Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale out on the pitch, Real Madrid is twice as effective. At least in attack. 'Los Blancos' have scored more goals since the Portuguese and the Welshman have paired up, confirming what was hoped for in the Bernabéu offices last summer when they decided to buy Bale for €100 million. The investment, for now at least, is paying off.
The Madrilenian club has found in Bale a carbon copy of Ronaldo on the left wing, giving Ancelotti a much more powerful and imposing team to manage in attack. In the last three games, with both playing together, Real's average has been four goals and 12.3 shots per game. Before this scintillating partnership, the average was 2.46 goals and 6.4 shots per game.
Gareth Bale's arrival has given Real a power-boost in attack. 'Los Blancos' still rely on the Portuguese's amazing abilities, but he now has a partner that can match his class. Bale is a great scorer and a great playmaker, scoring three times in the last three games and giving four assists. To this can be added eight shots on goal and twelve crosses into the area, making him an integral part of Real's attacking play.
